This 4th of July we headed to Asheville and met up with the Lehmann family whom we have not seen in 3 years. Heather found a great cabin in Pisgah National Forest with great access to amazing mountain biking trails and hiking. The kids got along great together and enjoyed the outdoor adventures. We braved the Asheville crowds on the 4th to check out the firework display. The kids loved it and talked about it for days. We missed an opportunity to search for gemstones but we had a fun last hike at the arboretum and stumbled on a geocache. We look forward to more summer adventures in Asheville in years to come!
