Aunt Laurie visited us this spring and gave the kids the coolest gift. A butterfly habitat! We ordered caterpillars and watched them turn into chrysalides and then butterflies. The kids were fascinated. On this particular day Henry came home from school and wanted to have his snack while he watched the newly hatched butterflies.
Sadly, I did not take any photos of the kids releasing the butterflies. It was a fun experience saying goodbye to them. We will do it again. Thank you Aunt Laurie for a super fun gift!
