Wow! It was kind of a wild ride this school year but Samantha ended on a high note. She sailed through the first semester but we ran into some difficulties after our California trip, a few snow days and a new bus driver. Poor girl started to feel very anxious about going to school from February-mid May. Getting ready for school the night before and the morning routine got crazy hard and LOTS of tears were shed. Thankfully, Samantha's teacher, bus driver and school were very supportive in getting us through a few very difficult months.
We are very proud of her achievements this year. She is reading independently and is doing basic math without difficulty. She enjoyed the end of year activities and she has made quite a few very sweet friends. We feel very lucky to be part of the JYJ family.
