I was able to spend some special time with Samantha tonight and she chose to watch the "Disky Chicks" DVD which is something we used to do when she was small. It was really sweet watching and singing along to 'Travelin' Soldier,' 'More Love,' and 'Godspeed, Sweet Dreams.' A different experience now that she is 5 years old. She has a lot more to say about the hair, dresses and instruments of each of the musicians.
Henry went to bed earlier tonight because he chose to rest "standing up" during nap time. We thought he would be exhausted after a fun cousins visit but he again proved us wrong. He was happy as a clam to power through. He read and rested in his room for about an hour and the was ready to head back outside to look for cool rocks and rolly pollys. He is constant crack up.
