It has been a fun holiday season this year, our main complaint is that it was SO short! Both kids enjoyed getting ready for their Christmas presentations at Maracas and Samantha asked to practice everyday after school. They were more helpful in terms of decorating and making gifts for others than they have been in the past. They LOVED looking for their elves every morning, putting a new ornament on the advent calendar and finding the correct date on their chocolate treat calendars. The weather prior to Christmas was mild this year and we took lots of evening walks (I want to remember Henry streaking down the street in just a t-shirt and pants/sometimes shorts, looking for lights).
Both kids did a great job in their performances at school. Samantha did a short announcement before one of the songs that her class performed. She was very proud of her accomplishment.
She was also very excited to perform this song. She loved the jumping and twirling.
Henry did a great job in his performance of one of the Nutcracker songs. I love is Cipolla tongue-hanging-out concentration face. Also funny to watch Senora Claudia's face as she directs the kids.
