In May, Henry participated in a Welcome to Kindergarten program ay Joyner. All of the kindergartners learned about 5 songs to perform for the rising kindergartners. Not surprising, Henry felt very nervous about performing but did great. You can see how he loosens up after each song.
A few things we love about Joyner...diversity of ethnic backgrounds, the Spanish language program, the wonderful teachers and amazing principal. We feel very blessed to be part of the family.
I love this "practice" video that Ms. West sent. It captures the kids really enjoying the songs and their littler personalities. My favorite is the girl in the center of the group at about 25 seconds. I die laughing every time I watch this.
