At the conclusion of Joyner's Healthy Choice Marathon the students were able to dress like their favorite book character. Samantha and her friend Kate both chose to dress like Harry Potter characters. I think they both chose to be Hermione. She LOVED this outfit and was grinning when she left for school and when I picked her up later that day.
That same day Henry's class went on a field trip to NCSU to see a play on popular children's storybooks. It was a very fun outing and I was happy to be able to chaperone.
