This year the Callisons landed from FL to celebrate the Bluegrass Festival with us. We did something super crazy this year-we hired a babysitter for two nights in a row to watch the kids so that we could go the festival without the kids! It was so fun! We realized that the 4 of us had never been out together sans kids so we had lost time to make up for.
Where should I start? The kids did great. All of our kids just loved having Landon around he did great with A LOT of extra attention. An entire houseful of new toys definitely helped with that.
And the festival was awesome. Great weather, art that included helicopters & produce and fainting goats. amazing new bands (Billy Strings!) and getting to see old friends. It did not disappoint. A fun dinner at Jose and Sons will also not be forgotten.
They were a wee bit excited to see Landon. We had to promise to not put him in a choke hold.
