A few weeks ago we took a weekend vacation to Great Wolf Lodge in Concord, NC. GWL is an indoor water park with lots of other activities to keep kids busy. The kids were in heaven in their wolf themed bunk beds and played many games of hide in seek in our room. We were in and out of the water several times a day and it was great to see both kids back in the water, practicing swimming under water. Both were a little hesitant about the big water slides but enjoyed their rides once we coerced them to go on. By coerce I mean plopping them down and giving them a push. :)
We had two great dinners while we were there. The first night we took the kids to a Japanese steakhouse where our food was prepared Hibachi-style. It was such a fun dinner. I think Henry may have eaten for the entire 90 minutes we were there. I still am in awe at how much food he ate. Samantha at well too but definitely leery of trying too many new foods. The Hibachi cooking was great entertainment for both the kids and the adults.
The second night we headed to Davidson to visit with the Levy family. Samantha and Henry both love playing with Noah and visiting with his big brothers. The next day Bobby and Noah came to GWL and joined us in more pool time. It was great to have the company and enjoy the park together.
Such a great vacation. We will definitely be back to enjoy the park again!
