Thanksgiving 2013

It was a busy Thanksgiving this year. Samantha's birthday was the day before and we headed to High Point for a quick visit with the Colgans, Moores, Gammy & Popsy, Dauby and Goey & Gumpy. It was a chilly day and it even snowed a few fluffy flakes. The kids were undeterred and played outside in fun spots in the barn and in Gammy's trailer. Henry and Noah spent a good 45 minutes on the "slide" in the horse trailer (a divider). I am always so impressed by how well the big kids play with the littles. They are amazing when it comes to creating fun games and being perfect examples of good behavior.

We spent Thanksgiving with Nonni, Grandpa Mikey, Gramma & Papa from FL, the Trumplers, Craig, Liz and Penny and Joe & Linda from VA. It was a fun crew and we had not one but two dry brined turkeys. Yum! Another chilly day but not too cold for an am round robin tennis tourney. Everyone stayed through the weekend and we celebrated Nonni and Samantha's birthdays (again!).

Another fun holiday with family. Thanks to all the family members who traveled so that we could be together!
