More cousin time! The weekend before last we headed to Buffalo to spend some quality time with my western NY family. Like Samantha and Henry, I have many cousins who are close in age to me and lucky for me, those that are married have awesome spouses and kids that are similar in age to S&H.
My Aunt Jane suggested months ago that we rent houses on Lake Erie close to each other so that we could easily visit our family who lives in the area. It was a stellar idea. We each rented houses "on the beach" that had lots of room for entertaining. Aunt Jane hosted an amazing party at their house complete with roasting s'mores over a fire on the beach. The kids were in heaven! (See cake pop pictures...)
The Erie County Fair was also going on while we were there. So fun to be able to visit my "home fair" and relive some memories.
Thanks to everyone who helped pull the trip together. It was such a fun get away for us. We feel so blessed to have so many amazing family members and that S&H are able to spend time with them.
Our niece Penny is about the cutest toddler you will ever meet. She loved to play with Payson.
