It has been so fun getting ready for Christmas in our new house especially with two kiddos who are very excited about all things Christmas. They did a great job helping to pick out and decorate our tree. We can't seem to keep the bottom 1/8th decorated though. Henry is forever plucking off ornaments and bringing them over to show us. He cannot resist the Toemans (snowmen) and Poppy's dinosaurs from when he was a kid.
They are having a great time looking for their elves in the morning and then love to play hide and seek with them all over the house after they find them.
They have also been enjoying the Advent calendar that Gammy made for them (it is so cool!) and they love to go over the ornaments that are already on the tree after they have placed a new one.
This past weekend we celebrated with Gammy & Popsy by decorating gingerbread houses together and then going to Pullen Park's Holiday Express. Two houses made of cookie and a mountain of candy available to touch and try? Fuuun! We missed our cousin William though who was home sick with a tummy bug. Pullen Park was decorated beautifully with lights and the kids did great having their picture taken with Santa.
What an awesome season it has been so far. More fun activities to come!
