Sock Puppets

Samantha is definitely a "picker" like her momma. If she gets a mosquito bite or a scratch on her face she just cannot leave it alone. We have learned to cover her bites with bandaids to keep her hands off of them while they heal but she cannot seem to leave a bandaid on her face. In desperation one night I decided to give her "sock puppets" on each of her hands so that she could not scratch her face. It has definitely worked! I know her face looks sad in this picture but she happily puts them on before sleeping and micromanages how we put them on insisting that we put 2 pieces of tape on each side and that they are pulled up high enough. Such a character!
