Last week we were so fortunate to have one of our dearest friends come and visit for the week. Jenny Ventura made her FIFTH trip to Ventura and spent her spring break hanging out with an old married couple and their kiddos. We loved having her here and Samantha was following her around incessantly within about 5 minutes of seeing her again. She threw a pretty bad tantrum after a nap one day when she got up and Jenny was feeding Henry. Jealous, poor girl! The weather was beautiful here (it was nasty back in FL) and we enjoyed several trips to the beach and lots of outside time. I loved having the extra set of hands and adult interaction during the day.
This visit made me realize how special it is when a friendship continues to flourish even when each person is at a different life stage. Jenny has always embraced my family even when it was Pays, Aspen and I...we adore her as well. We love you Tia Jenny and hope to see you later this summer!
