Claire at Maracas

Literally 2 days after she turned 3, Claire started preschool at Maracas.  Samantha and Henry had not started school yet so imagine how difficult it was for her to be dropped off knowing they were going home to play.  She. Did. Great.  We were so proud of her.  There were a few days of tears but carrying a small stuffed elephant in with her seemed to really calm her down and make her feel secure.  She has transitioned beautifully and really seems to enjoy the Montessori approach to learning.  Senora Laura and Senora Clau are very special people and it is obvious that Claire trusts and respects them.  We are so grateful to continue our preschool experience there.
