Claire at 3 Years Old

Wow!  Three years old!  I know it seems cliche but I really do feel like she just came home from the hospital.  And yet, we could not imagine our lives without her.  She makes us smile and laugh and reminds us to slow down and smell the flowers.  She tests our patience and is so very patient with all of us.  She reminds us of the fun children's books that Samantha and Henry adored and brings back some of Samantha's favorite clothing items.  She loves a good princess dress and is not afraid to wear a leotard into Target.  She is great company on errands.  She is a great sleeper and loves to snuggle.  She does NOT like vegetables and is mediocre on some fruit.  She is a mac and cheese, milk loving girl to the core.  Her core strength is amazingly strong and she rocks at gymnastics, riding her scooter and keeps up with big kids on the trampoline.  She loves her neighbor Meren and cousin Caroline.  She is so sweet to our animals and never declines to give the cats treats or take Bruno for a walk when asked.  She LOVES anything that contains sugar, and that includes Nonni and Gammy.  She has blown our socks off with her easy transition to Maracas and has great respect for her teachers and classmates.  She can concentrate easily and has  a sweet, pouty lower lip that sticks out when she does.  She loves to sing along to Frozen and Trolls in the car and at home.

We can't imagine out lives without you sweet Claire Bear!  Happy Third Birthday!
