While Samantha was on Spring Break we took a quick trip to the zoo with Gammy to celebrate her birthday in February. We only toured North America this trip and we were so fortunate to see the male polar bear literally doing laps in his "pool" at the zoo. It was the first exhibit that we visited and we also stopped by on the way out and he was STILL swimming. He looked so much happier than the last time we were there and it was such a cool experience to see how big his paws were when they were pressed against the glass. We also enjoyed the desert animal exhibit and the natural play area. It is truly an amazing zoo, we look forward to getting back there over the summer to check out the Africa side.
