Oh sweet Claire Bear! Her personality is developing more everyday. She is such a joy with her constant smiles and sweet manner.
On the move! She is walking 6-10 steps at a time and has recently realized that she can go farther if she goes SLOWER. So cute to see those wheels turn for her. Crawling is definitely her preferred method for getting somewhere fast but I bet that will change soon.
Eating...everything in sight! Zucchini, asparagus, sandwiches, pasta...if it is in your hands, she wants to try it. She still loves scrambled eggs and eats two every morning. Her happy head bob has progressed into full swinging of her upper body when she is eating something that she really likes. Our future foodie!
Drinking...more whole milk and less formula, at last! We are working on finding a sippy cup that she likes.
Talking...Hi! Bye-bye, Ma-ma-ma and Da-da. She loves to wave and is still doing a very cute open close fist that faces inward toward her. She does not have much stranger anxiety and will let other people hold her as long as they walk around to look at things. She still loves to point with a chubby finger and say "Ooooooohhhhhh!"
Exploring...this girl loves to get her fingers into the trash can, unload the recycling bin and unravel toilet paper, and it makes me crazy! Hard to get mad at her sweet face but yelch! Gross!
Becoming obsessed with water...seems like a trend in our family. Claire loves to play in the pool and tub and is fascinated by dripping water.
Ball girl! She loves them. Big basketballs to small whiffle balls. She loves to throw them, chase them and ride in her push care holding them.
Learning how to be patient...Claire has been on many car trips recently and she has done great playing with books and toys for hours at a time. She loves the baby maracas from Jenny & Scott and also is very into board books with animals.
Taking a few steps with Princess Leia in hand.
Chubby finger point
Claire loves to do activities with her older sibs. Samantha was so proud that she taught her how to roll the ball.
