2 weeks ago our family plus mom ventured north for a family vacation to visit family in Buffalo. We stopped in Hershey, PA along the way and spent the day at Hershey Park. The kids loved it and were hooked on roller coasters in a hot second. Their favorites were the Pirate ship and Fearless Flyers, a plane on cables that you could move back and forth. We did several rides, it was FUN! Claire was a trooper and was happy to jam around the park in the Bjorn. Nonni was a huge help with the kids and we were able to tag team to get to do the rides we wanted. Mom and I even did a big roller coaster called Fahrenheit while Pays took the kids for the biggest ice cream cone they had even eaten, per Samantha. After a quick tour of the chocolate factory the next am we jumped back in the car and continued north.

6 hours later we were all ready to get out of the car and kick back at Aunt Barbara and Uncle Warren's. It was great to see them and meet their sweet baby goats. We are also very excited to see Craig, Liz and Penny and meet Ruthie and Evelyn for the first time. All 3 girls have lots of personality and are as sweet as can be. We enjoyed seeing their new house for the first time and visiting Liz's mom's horse farm. We celebrated a low key 4th of July by going fishing and both kids caught fish on their own. The kids loooooved Aunt Barbara's new in-ground pool and asked to be in the water every day at about 7:30am. Henry also had a great time catching frogs and keeping track on the garden snakes that live near the water garden. Kid heaven. We were sad to leave but plan to do the same trip again next year, we had so much fun.
These photos were taken by a friend of Liz's. Such a sweet gift! She did a great job with the kids.
Samantha and Henry helped Uncle Warren drive one of his tractors.
