This year we celebrated Henry and Payson's birthdays Dinosaur style and it was soooo fun! Pays realized this year how much fun it will be to relive fun childhood birthdays celebrating with Henry. Sometime in December Henry started expressing interest in dinosaurs. When we asked him if he wanted to have a dinosaur birthday birthday party he said, "Yeahhhhh T-Wexxxx!" He is ALL boy these days!
Pays suggested getting some inflatable dinosaurs to incorporate into kids games and it was a great idea. I would have never though of that. We blew one up for Henry's actual birthday and he (and Samantha!) had a blast playing with it. He ate every snack and meal that day with us as well.
The kids are both very into puzzles these days and we spent a lot of time on putting together some new puzzles. It was fun to have Grandpa Mikey over for the boys' birthday dinner. We were both off all day that day which was probably the best gift we could have asked for this year.
We had the dinosaur party on Saturday but had to delay until the afternoon because of icy roads. We still had a great time but it was LOUD and MESSY with kids using all areas of the house to play.
It was a great celebration and we look to many more birthdays to celebrate together.
