What a great holiday it was for us! Both kids were very much into preparing for and participating in Christmas and it was so fun to see it through a child's eyes again. We are starting to de-Christmas a bit and Samantha said today, "Christmastime is over? That's so sad." We are already looking forward to 2013.
On Christmas Eve Santa paid a visit to Nonni's house and helped to deliver a beautiful train set that Grandpa Mikey had made. The kids loved the visit and Samantha was a sweet hostess making sure Santa had enough cookies and milk. :)
As you can imagine Grandpa Mikey's train set was a hit. A beautiful toy to help us work on manners and courtesy.
The kids were fascinated that Santa ate the cookies and drank the milk. AND, the Babmbis ate the carrots!
This was the special gift that Samantha asked Santa for...
Henry is obsessed with this Advent calendar from Gammy!
This speedy elephant was a fun gift from Aunt Liz and Uncle Craig.
This cute book was a gift from the Handley family. They danced to the song about 25 times except for a short intermission for a costume change!
