Seven Year Anniversary

On June 4th Pays and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. We realized this spring that other than our first anniversary we couldn't really remember doing anything special for other anniversaries. Pays surprised me with an overnight stay at the Umstead Inn and Spa which is in Cary. It was a great surprise and a fantastic location. We had an amazing, uninterrupted dinner outside as the moon rose over the pine trees. The next morning we hiked in Umstead and then had a delicious breakfast before heading back home. Thanks for the special treat. I'm sure we will be ready for another stay before the next 7 years are up.
