Potty training for Samantha and Bruno

A few weeks ago we decided to take on potty training for Samantha and Invisible Fence training for Bruno. For about 2 weeks our lives revolved around where they were both peeing and pooping. It probably wasn't a great decision to do both at once but we knew were going to be spending a lot of time at home so we went for it. Samantha did great! She got peeing down within the first 3 days and had very few accidents after that. Mostly when she was distracted playing with her cousins or friends. She was TERRIFIED of pooping for about the first week and every time she went it was quite dramatic with lots of crying and back and forth to the potty. We started having DVD parties when she went which was a great motivator for her. She is doing great 4 weeks out and even went #2 in a Port-a-Potty yesterday. Even Mommy thinks that can be scary at times! Bruno is also doing great. He is definitely respectful of the flags but will take the zap to be with us if we are on the other side. Both dogs are learning to pee and poop in our natural area in the backyard which is so great for all of us. Yay for Mantha and puppies!
