What a fun September! With Henry on the move and lots of fun places to explore our kiddos have been busy. Lucky us, we were able to visit with Aunt Wendy, Gammy and Nonni and Grandpa Mikey this month. And, we went to the Outer Banks for the first time since being back in NC.
The kiddos are astonishing us everyday with their new accomplishments...
*In addition to lots of new words (hide, turn, cat), Samantha is putting 2 word sentences together frequently. Our recent favorite has been "Henry blech" meaning Henry threw up.
*Now on dog walks Samantha prefers to push her dolly or Pooh bear in her dolly stroller. She also loves to push Henry in the dolly stroller but he is really pushing the weight limit these days.
*Henry is pulling himself to stand on everything and is even crawling up and down steps. We recently changed his car seat from the infant carrier to a rear facing toddler car seat. He loves the change and can see his big sis so much better.
*Henry is doing great with solids and loves to feed himself. Some of his favorite foods are carrots, pears, watermelon and canteloupe.
*Best of all is seeing how much the kids love each other's company. They are always excited to see the other and play together...with only sporadic pushing/poking/stealing/yelling! It truly is a blessing to see your kids interact well and LOVE EACH OTHER.
It SEEMS like we have finally pushed past Henry's road blocks to sleeping and he is very consistently sleeping from 9pm until 6:30-6:45am. On our recent vacation to the OBX he only woke up in the middle of the night twice and this was probably due to his top teeth coming in. Such an improvement!
Our next project to to have Samantha transition to a toddler bed so that Henry can get into her crib!
Now I see Pays in Henry! I used to say only Jen...how crazy what a short time can do in our kiddos' faces! LOVE and MISS you guys! Can't wait to catch up with you guys!
