Gammy & Popsy Camp and Ocean Isle Beach Week

Yep, our kids are luckiest on the block. Not only did they get to spend a week at Gammy & Popsy's farm with their 7 awesome cousins but then we headed down to Ocean Isle Beach together for a whole other week together. Nothing like a relaxing vacation with 17 of your favorite family members in one house to sharing approximately 5-6 viruses to complete your summer!

Here are some highlights of the two weeks:
Horsebackriding! Samantha loved it and was saying, "horse, horse, horse" by Day #2.
Swimming! In the pool, pond or ocean. There was lots of it.
Making our own camp t-shirts. We tie dyed and decorated them ourselves.
Dinner as a group every night in Gammy's pretty dining room with dessert right after, no questions asked.
A campfire to roast hot dogs, marshmallows and make yummy melted chocolate banana desserts (see above highlight).
Minor car problems on the way to the beach causing us to go from 3 vehicles to 2. Some travel items were left behind and the cars became a bit more snuggly.
"Sharing" the Colgan cough, swimmer's ear, fevers for no reason and a 24 hour vomiting virus. The kids (and adults) were troopers.
