Henry Payson Thompson was born on his Papi's birthday on 1/24/11 at 10:51pm. My contractions had started early that morning about 2:00am and I was able to labor at home until about 3:30pm. Pays and I went to the beach that morning so that he could surf for a bit and I took a beautiful kid-free walk. We even got a chance to take Samantha to the park after lunch and have some family time before we walked over to the hospital. We had a beautiful delivery and were so happy to have Dr. Schoeld be present again. We came home yesterday on 1/25 in the afternoon and are having fun settling into being a family of four. We are so grateful to have Nonni here (and the dogs at the pet sitter's for a few days). He is a sweet baby who rarely cries and Samantha seems to be adjusting well so far. She incidentally chose yesterday to make walking her primary mode of getting around! We will get a video up soon.
