It was another fun swim team this year. Samantha was on the 7&8 year old team and was legitimately terrified to practice with the older kids starting back in February. After a tough week of practice the first week we had her do a few private lessons with Coach Natalie who worked hardest on improving her confidence. She won her heat in her first race and that did wonders for her.
Henry did a great job with the 6 and under team and really shone as a leader. He never complained about practice, showed excellent sportsmanship and swam hard at every meet. At the end of the year meet he won the award for Most Improved in the 6 and under age group! We were super proud of both kids in what they accomplished this summer.
