Summer=Pool Time

It has been HOT here the past week!  Temps have been 100-105.  I really don't know what to do with the kids outside other than go to the pool.  We have been at Greystone a LOT already this summer.

Samantha & Henry have been participating in swim team since May and are very proficient swimmers.  We are all pleased that they can be in the pool independently and are SAFE.  They are both working hard at freestyle, breast and back stroke.  They have also been zipping down the slide and jumping off diving boards without any adult help for a few weeks.

This may have been Henry's first jump off the big diving board.  After about 2 more jumps he told me that he didn't need to have me in the water any more, he was ready to be independent.  (Samantha is whining in the background b/c she was not allowed to have free swim that day b/c she chose to not participate in lessons.  We had a contest of wills for about 3 days and then she joined lessons again without any issues.  Not sure what the road block was but so happy to have moved past it).

Claire has also been loving the pool time and she has been a CHAMP about doing her afternoon nap in the stroller.

Sweet girl fell asleep craning her neck trying to see what was going on.
