As a parent I don't think there is anything quite like watching your children play together happily and genuinely enjoy each other's company. Samantha and Henry are closer developmentally now more so than they ever have been. Henry can keep up with almost all of her activities and they share a lot of similar interests. They both love to play pretend and will set up scenes with toys and play dress up in all sorts of costumes. Henry loves to be a part of Samantha's Show and Tell play and will listen dutifully as she parades object after object around telling him that each one is fragile and that he cannot touch it (torture for poor Henry!).
A few quotables from the past few days: "Henry you look so handsink (handsome) in your new panties!" (We are working on potty training with Henry). "Henry when you get up from your nap we can get married, OK?"
