It has been more than a month now since we moved! We are loving our new house and are actually feeling settled. We still need to get some pictures on the walls but we can now walk through our garage without tripping over boxes and can find most necessary objects.
Safety has definitely been an issue now that we have 2 floors and a yard to keep safe from one very dangerous toddler. We have learned quickly how to corral the kids into one area and now have very specific rules about opening doors and changing "zones." The pets are also loving the new digs and the neighborhood.
The screened in patio is definitely our favorite spot these days and the kids request to eat the majority of their meals outside. We love having the garage as a place to get some outside time even when it is rainy or windy outdoors. The kids are enjoying the yard and "helping" with landscaping and lawn maintenance. Samantha even helped cut the grass!
Our neighbors are all very nice and our next door neighbors were super understanding when Bruno snuck into their house and sniffed around for 5-10 minutes. Ooops!
