Another month has gone by and Samantha is bigger, cuter and FASTER! She started to crawl the day before she turned 8 months and she is having so much fun exploring her world. We are still getting used to not finding her in the last place she was put down. When she sees something she wants she is GONE!!!
Some things we want to remember...
-She loves to sit in her carseat with both backseat windows rolled down and feel the breeze on her face. When she is tired she will lay her head back and just totally zen out.
-She has learned that throwing her Cheerios over the side of her tray on her high chair attracts instant attention from Bruno. Hmmm...we are working on this.
-She loves to say ba-ba-ba and ma-ma-ma and will scream (loudly) when she is excited about something.
-When she is really into an activity she responds by moving both hand and feet non-stop (check out the Elmo video).
-The Baby Bjorn carrier is still her favorite mode of transport and we have improved on our last model by buying one with more lumbar support. She loves to face forward on walks and check out flowers, street signs and always has a smile for passing neighbors.
-She loves to pull herself up on chairs and our coffee table.
-One of her favorite activities is emptying things out. We tease her by filling her weeble-wobble house full of toys and she promptly takes all of them out; often by throwing them over shoulder. She also loves to empty out my tupperware lid drawer.
-She is still napping three times a day and sleeping 8:30p-7:00a.
-She gets REALLY excited when the person who is working comes home from work. She will scrunch up her face and breathe quickly (and loudly) through her nose and waves her arms all around. It is the best 'Welcome Home' you could imagine!
