I think the word that best sums up Samantha these days is "busy." She is ready to be on the move and is SO close to crawling! When she sees something she wants she is ready to GO and can balance on all fours and rock. But as soon as she lifts a hand or a foot she falls on to her stomach and gets MAD. She still hates being on her tummy. We are savoring our last weeks of limited mobility(as you can tell by Pays in the background)...looks like they will be over soon!
She has the cutest 2 bottom teeth popping out, hope you can see from the first picture.
She loves her bouncy chair and can play there for 20-30 minutes bouncing and babbling the whole time. We think it's hysterical that she hold on to the straps as if she is riding a horse!
She loves to play with any kind of strings!
She is still napping three times a day 2 1.5-2 hour naps and a short 45 minute nap at dinner. She goes down at 8:30pm and is up at 7:00am. You can set your clock by her! We are loving this sleep schedule...
Unfortunately we are almost done breastfeeding. Even sitting in the corner of her dark room she cannot concentrate long enough to do a whole feeding. Definitely disappointing but we have learned that being "flex" is a cardinal rule of parenting.
She loves being outside and will do jumping jacks in the Baby Bjorn the whole walk to show her enthusiasm!
She loves to "stand" with assistance and bang her hands on the coffee table or ottoman and yell out like Tarzan. Aaaahhhaaaahhhaahhhh!
I love her teeth!
ReplyDeleteSAD about nursing! :( Jules is pretty distracted as well, and I've worried about my milk supply. We'll see if she makes it to the 12 month mark!
See you in a few days!
