Getting soooo big!

Somehow our little girl turned 6 months a few weeks ago. We have been very busy checking in with Dr. Schoeld and getting our pictures taken. Here's the latest on Samantha....

• She weighs 17lbs1oz and is 75% for weight and 50% for length and head circumference
• She is quite the sitter and rarely falls over anymore, even when Daddy teases her and pushes her
• When she is on her belly she tries (hard) to get her knees up under her. She can scoot side to side and backward pretty quickly in hot pursuit of toys or other items. When she is contemplating what to do next on her belly she will tap her right foot on the ground.
• She LOVES peek-a-boo and 'How big is Samantha?' 'Soooo big!'
• She also loves to watch our animals and loves when we make animal noises
• A dog walk in the Baby Bjorn=happy girl ready for nap when we get home
• She usually takes 2 1 hour 45 minute naps and a shorter catnap around dinner and is sleeping from 9pm until 7am
• We are still doing solids twice a day although we probably need to do three times. Zucchini and peas are definitely her favorites
• She still loves the bathtub and can play forever with her fish and duckie
• She loves to play with my plastic kitchen utensils and measuring cups. Her favorite new trick is to put the measuring cup up to her lips and shaker her head back and forth making a yabber-yabber-yabber noise
• She loves to grab at tabs or labels on her toys and clothes. So funny how she is noticing things that we don't. It's fun to look at the world through your child's eyes!
